AiM Solo 2 / DL Protective Case – 22mm / 28mm Mount Options

Made in the UK by Smith Developments, this 3D-printed protective cover is designed for AiM Solo 2 / Solo 2 DL lap timers. Choose a 22mm or 28mm handlebar mounting option, or No Mount, and customise the colours to suit your racing setup. Intended for track use.

Choose your AiM Solo 2 / DL case and mounting option

• Compatibility: AiM Solo 2 / Solo 2 DL. Check the exact model and configuration before ordering.
• Mounting choices: 22mm handlebars, 28mm handlebars or No Mount.
• Colour choices: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet, Black or White.
• Finish choices: Single Colour or Multi Colour.
• Personalisation: select Multi Colour to add a name, race number, or both, and choose the lettering colour in the fields provided. Contact us about logos or other designs before ordering.

Before you order

• Check the model name on your lap timer against the compatibility listed above.
• For a handlebar-mounted case, measure the bar at the mounting position and choose 22mm or 28mm. Choose No Mount for a case without mounting legs.
• Check that the fitted case will leave room for your cables, controls and steering movement.
• For a personalised case, check the spelling, race number and lettering colour before adding it to your basket.

Mounting options

Choose 22mm or 28mm to match the diameter of your handlebars at the intended mounting position. Measure where the mount will sit, rather than at the grips. Check space around the device, cables and controls before ordering. Choose No Mount if you need the case without the handlebar mounting legs.

Colour and finish

Select a case colour and either Single Colour or Multi Colour using the product options. For Multi Colour, choose the lettering colour and enter a name, race number, or both. For logos or a specific design, contact us before ordering to agree the details and any additional cost.

Does this include the lap timer?

No. This listing is for the protective case and the components listed above for your chosen mounting configuration. The AiM Solo 2 / Solo 2 DL lap timer shown in the fitted photos is not included.

How do I choose 22mm or 28mm mounting?

Measure the handlebar diameter at the intended mounting position. Select the matching option, and check clearance around cables and controls before fitting.

What does No Mount mean?

No Mount means the case is supplied without the handlebar mounting legs. Choose it if your setup does not need those legs. It does not mean a different device model or a universal fit.

Can I choose custom colours or add my race number?

Yes. Choose the case colour and select Multi Colour to enter a name, race number, or both, with your chosen lettering colour. For logos or a particular design, contact Smith Developments before ordering to agree the details and any additional cost.

When will my case be dispatched?

Off-the-shelf products normally dispatch in 2–3 days. Allow up to one week turnaround before dispatch for all products. UK delivery is by DPD or Royal Mail and normally takes a further 3–5 working days after dispatch. See our shipping policy for delivery details.

Is this an official AiM accessory?

No. This is an independent Smith Developments aftermarket product. AiM is named to identify device compatibility.
