These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Smith Developments website and the purchase of any products or services from us. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Smith Developments is a UK-based business specialising in bespoke 3D-printed parts and custom solutions.

2. Products and Services

Smith Developments designs and manufactures bespoke and small-batch 3D-printed products. Due to the nature of custom manufacturing, slight variations in appearance, finish, or colour may occur and are considered normal.

All products are supplied for their intended purpose only, as described on the website or accompanying documentation.

3. Custom and Bespoke Orders

Custom or bespoke products are manufactured specifically to customer requirements. By placing a custom order, you confirm that you have provided accurate specifications.

Custom orders are non-refundable once production has begun, unless the product is faulty or incorrect due to our error.

4. Use of Products & Disclaimer

Our products are intended for motorsport and minibike use only unless otherwise stated. Installation and use of any product is carried out entirely at the customer’s own risk.

Smith Developments accepts no responsibility for damage, injury, or loss caused by:

Incorrect installation
Misuse of products
Use outside the intended application
Failure to inspect or maintain products correctly

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where prohibited by law.

5. Compatibility Statements

Any references to third-party brands (including but not limited to AIM, MyChron, Alfano) are used solely to describe product compatibility. Smith Developments is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with these brands.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, designs, images, and products remain the intellectual property of Smith Developments unless otherwise agreed in writing. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without permission.

Custom designs created for customers remain the property of Smith Developments unless a written agreement states otherwise.

7. Pricing and Payment

All prices are listed in GBP (£) and are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise. Payment must be made in full before production or dispatch.

We reserve the right to amend pricing or product availability at any time.

8. Delivery

Estimated delivery times are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed. Smith Developments is not responsible for delays caused by third-party couriers or circumstances beyond our control.

9. Returns and Refunds

Standard (non-custom) products may be returned within 14 days of receipt, provided they are unused and in original condition.

Custom or bespoke items are non-returnable unless faulty.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Smith Developments shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use of our products or website.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
