Where we deliver
Smith Developments ships within the United Kingdom. We use DPD or Royal Mail. Available delivery services can depend on the parcel size, weight and destination. Please contact sales@smith-developments.co.uk before ordering if you need to check a particular postcode.
Preparation and dispatch
Off-the-shelf products normally dispatch within 2–3 days. Please allow up to one week turnaround before dispatch for all products. Courier transit time is additional; turnaround is not a guaranteed arrival date. If a different schedule is needed for a bespoke project, we will agree it with you before accepting that order. If you need an item for an event, contact us before ordering.
Charges and delivery estimates
The delivery charge and available service must be shown before you complete checkout. Please review these before paying. We will not impose a new delivery surcharge after an order has been agreed without your agreement. The service selected for your parcel determines the courier delivery estimate.
Delays or missing parcels
If your parcel has not arrived within its expected delivery window, email us with your order number. We will investigate with the carrier and arrange an appropriate resolution. Your consumer rights remain with Smith Developments; using a courier does not remove our responsibility for the delivery obligations that apply to your order. Unless another period has been agreed, goods must normally be delivered within 30 days.
Delivery details and damage
Please check your delivery address when ordering and tell us promptly if a correction is needed. If an item arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us and describe the problem. Photographs are helpful where available, but are not a condition of your statutory rights. Goods remain our responsibility until delivered to you or the person you nominate, subject to the statutory rules where you independently arrange a carrier.
